The Theories of Divine Relationships

Like theoretical studies in sciences, certain spiritual principles work like proven facts. They are reliable accounts of how God walks with his children.

One of such theories is that the significance of what people achieve is directly proportional to their relationship with God.

We may also add that many narratives of frustration and failure are to a large extent caused by the degree to how far people have wandered away from God and after their own interests.

To go far with God demands a sacrificial relationship, much more than our time and money but of our very lives. To become God’s champion in life, we must give up our own goals and desires in exchange for God’s own plans and desires for our lives.

Having wandered far from God and after series of defeats the Israelites came to Samuel for help and he offered his advice in this game changing theory:

“If you return to the Lord with all your hearts… and prepare your hearts for the Lord and serve him only, and He will deliver you …”

1 Samuel 7:3
